File Downloader

when i first jb'ed my iphone 3gs with spirit i was automatically (i think) able to download media files (movies etc), like when i would click on a video that would usually open the media player, it would ask me if i wanted to dload the file or view it in the media player. This worked for safari and atomic browsers.

i upgraded to 4.1 and jb'ed with greenpois0n, and now its gone. cant someone please tell me what's up. thank you

I never jailbroke with Spirit but on JBme.com and Greepois0n I've always seen the need to install a download utility from Cydia. Sarfari Download Manager seems very popular but costs $5.

i really don't remember downloading safari downloader, especially not for 5 bucks, unless it used to be free. But doe safari downloader also work for other browsers?
