HI,

So far when I downloaded applications from the net, the file extension name was .DMG. All of a sudden, everything I download comes with a .sit extension. And of course, I can't install them.

I first thought I downloaded a version of the applications that's not compatible with Mac os X. I checked and no, I downloaded the right version.

Can anybody help ?

Thanks

.sit means that it's a Stuffit compressed file (pretty normal for a net download). If Stuffit has not automatically uncompressed it then double click on the .sit file and Stuffit will uncompress the archive to the same folder as the .sit is in. Stuffit is installed with Mac OSX by default. If you have deleted it for some reason I'm sure you can download it.
