File extensions in Files.app?

I have tons of files where I have a Pages document and an exported PDF version.
In macOS it's easy to spot the difference between filename.pages and filename.pdf.
However, I don't see any file extension in Files.app on my iPhone 7 Plus, and the thumbnail looks identical.
Anyone solved this problem?
