Okays, I have various programs installed such as photoshop, dreamweaver and ms office, but the file icons for specific documents that are defaulted to these programs do not show.

for example, I have PHP files set to open up in dreamweaver. Well the dreamweaver icon is there for a few seconds, then it goes to a blank paper icon with PHP on it. Heres a pic of the php file:

How do I fix this so that the specific icons do show? this also happens with .docx files, psd files, any file that is associated to a program.
Its just a blank icon, but the files do open in the desired programs.

I took another shot of the get info dialogue. It does show that it is using the dreamweaver defined php icon, but the preview does not show the icon:

Disregard this post, I figured it out.

I went to the finder and turned icon previews off, then set it as the default settings.
