A brand new Mac out of the box with no movies or videos at all ever placed on the drive will show about that amount used for movies. Included in the OS are a bunch of small videos that get included in that amount. For example if you go into System Preferences and look at the trackpad and mouse setting you will see some animations in there... things like that.I looked at About My MAC and it shows I have 1.21gb and 420mb of movies. Can someone tell me where these would be stored because I have not put any pictures on this MAC or Movies. All my files are basically stored on my NAS.
Thanks for the info. The same is true for Music? It show 1.31GB of music.A brand new Mac out of the box with no movies or videos at all ever placed on the drive will show about that amount used for movies.
