File Searching with Alfred

With Spotlight I can enter a word, e.g. "the," and it can reveal text files that contain the word "the." I can't seem to be able to do this with Alfred. It seems the only way to find a file with Alfred is if I type the name of the file. Is this true or am I not doing something right?

I don't think Alfred can search file contents like Spotlight does.
