I have two iMacs that cannot share files between themselves. I've tried everything I can think of:

System Preferences >> Sharing >> File Sharing >> ON

I try to share specific folders, but none of them can be seen by the other iMac (and vice versa). I can see the computer in NETWORK, but it always says "Not Connected" and there are no shared folders visible.

If I try to CONNECT as a user, nothing works. I've ever tried setting up a USER ACCOUNT on my iMac but it will not connect.

I have both SMB and AFP sharing boxes ON.

What else can I do?
