File sharing between profiles

On Windows I had two accounts - one for me and one for my wife. I could browse into her My Documents folder and she to mine, so sharing was a breeze. We've set up our Leopard iMac with the same two accounts but I can find no way of accessing my wife's docs from my profile. Is there a way of enabling that?

There's no simple way to do this, without doing some UNIXy stuff. Leopard makes the task easier than in Tiger (due to ACL support) but it's still not as easy as it should be.

There is a workaround, though - use the Shared folder in the Users folder for stuff both of you need to see.
