File sharing on system 7

I have some games/ files on a macintosh performa 575 that I would like to move to one of my powerbook duo's. Is there a way to do that besides a floppy disk? Is there away to sorta "network" them togather? I'm sorry this is such a noob question probably! Thanks for any help!
 
You could connect them with a cable between their serial ports. It'll be slow, but it will allow you to make a simple LocalTalk network to transfer the files.
 
Thanks it worked! For some reason I couldn't get the duo to connect, but the performa did. I was using AppleShare...
