I've had leopard for a while know and want to set up my movies folder on my external drive as a shared folder so another friend that's living in the same house can access my movies. I've tried everything and even made him an account but all he sees on his end is my public folder.
this is how my syspref pane looks locally:
and on his side...see, no movies folder...just my default public one
any help would be appreciated
on my debian box I just had to set the permissions and it worked...is there an extra step here on Leopard?
