File sharing problems in Catalina

Ever since the first beta of Catalina, I’ve been unable to connect to Windows 10 computers from the sidebar, I can only connect using the IP address. With the latest beta of 10.15.2 things are even worse as I can’t connect to the Catalina Mac either, from any other device, Mac, Windows PC or iOS. I haven’t seen any other discussions about this problem on the forums so wondered how widespread it was, or is it the case that few people network their devices these days as everything’s shared in the cloud? It certainly seems to be a low priority for Apple who have so far made no progress in fixing this

I just updated Catalina to 10.15.2 and my MacBook Pro sharing IS hosed, was working decent until this update, not GOOD, but decent...no more!
