Why does iTunes not inform the buyer about a products file size before purchase? I was thinking of purchasing a TV series from iTunes which has 20 episodes, each an hour long, in SD. This would obviously eat into my monthly download allowance with my ISP but by how much? I know one can find out after the download has taken place but it's a bit late by then.

I agree that the file sizes should be listed for all items excluding music files. Here is what I found from Apple.
Thanks, that's useful. Pity though that as said previously the file size isn't listed with the price of the product. Perhaps they think it may put buyers off?
