File sorting software

Hello,

I am looking for some software that could sort images based on either file name or metadata. I get anywhere from 300-1500 images placed in a FTP folder in which I need to then sort into sub folders before uploading to a DAM. I am looking to automate this process a bit.

The images are named based on product style number and colorway. I need to file all images by style number, combining all colorways into one folder.

Any ideas?
