Last rumor I read was that ZFS was abandoned, but Apple was working on their own system that's similar with the original ZFS developer... or maybe he was working by himself on it... I can't remember.
My only complaint with HFS+ is that OS X needs significant free space to work with it. Plus it's not as robust as ZFS against data corruption.
What is Apple doing in this field? Do they plan on releasing anything?
