Question: I am going to but a 32GB iTouch in the next month - 6 weeks. I currently have a 30GB video that I literally measure free space in KB. Is there any way to transfer the songs/movies/tv shows/playlists on my video to my iTouch when I get it? I know I could download it all again, but let's just say that I'd rather not risk that again if I don't have to.

No I don't sync anything but one podcast, so iTunes really doesn't do much for me. Until now I didn't have the HDD capacity for all of my music (I love Live music, the Dead, Phil Lesh, Robert Randolph and Phish in particualr) and still have room for my stuff for work, so I would delete my music once it was on my iPod.
Ipod to Ipod might be a shot for you but it costs monies. You could also use the Senuti application to get them on your computer first, and then get them on the new ipod.
