Hi im new to the forums here and i joined cuz ive been having a minor problem

i have downloaded yahoo messenger and i have gotten several photos from friends. until recently ive been able to receive photos and open them in preview but now it wont let me open them...it says that the photo is corrupted or that it isnt the right format...however it happens to all the photos i receive...they are all .jpg format so that shouldnt be a problem right? can anyone help me with this?

The version of Yahoo Messenger you're using may be incompatible with the version of Mac OS X you're running. Make sure your Yahoo Messenger is up to date, or failing that, try a different program (such as Adium).
