Please tell me this isn't a glaring oversight, and that the apple care rep and myself are just idiots...
When trying to upload a file (web site, email attachment, etc) when the finder dialogue appears to select the file you want to upload under the column selections on the left you have the usual items: Devices, Places, Search, Media - if you select Media, and then Photos - it will list your iPhoto library including selections for: Events, Photos, Last Import, Last 12 months etc.
WHY THE HELL ISN'T THERE A SELECTION FOR "FACES" or "PLACES"?
*whew* sorry just a little frustrated...
It would come in amazingly handy when sending photos to people that when I want to send a picture of "Amy", it show's all my pictures of "Amy".....
I already spent hours going through the library to assign all the damn faces to the pictures, the data is in there - put it to use!
/rant
Hopefully someone has an idea of how to get these added in - instead of adding smart folders for every person....
mac phone support said - that functionality is not currently enabled....
:-(
sent in a request - via iPhoto feedback and Mac OS X feedback - since I'm not sure if it's a OS X Finder enhancement or an iPhoto enhancement...
