macOS Filemaker Pro question

I'm using version 8.5 and I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to make a calculation field unique. I've got a library database that calculates an ID for each item make up of a category number, sub-category number and a sequence number (ie: 000.000-000). I know that one can easily make a text field unique but not sure if there's anything that can be done with a calculation field.
