Hello,

I am file sharing between my two macs. I use chronosync to sync folders, but i get error messages when coming across files that have file name characters that windows doesn't often understand. (Such as filenames with ".", "?", or """... you know what i mean)

Even though both macs are running osx sl, both macs are formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)...

could i be because in the System Pref/Sharing/FileSharing i have checked the following: AFP, FTP, and SMB? Does SMB file sharing prohibit alternative charachters from syncing using chronosync?

thanks,
r.
