iPhone Files app and SMB - can you upload

guys - using the new smb functionality, can one upload photos into a local server through SMB? From the iphone into the server? If not, does anybody know any free app that can accomplish that?

I’m seeing a lack of response on these forums off late. Are there any other sites I should try
