I am running iPadOS 13.2.2 on an iPad Pro 10.5. I have mounted my Mac mini as a server under the Shared tab in the Files app. I log in to the server using my Mac user id and password.
I can see the top level folders of my home directory using the Files app, but I am denied permission to view the Documents folder because (you don't have permissions to see its contents".
I shared the Documents folder under sharing in System Preferences and given read/write permissions. Upon reloading into the server on the iPad, I now see the Documents folder at the top level of the server. It says I need to authenticate. I do so with my Mac user name and password, but nothing happens. Instead of showing the files in the Documents directory, it just shows authenticate again as if the authentication failed, but I have verified I am using the correct user name and password.
Any ideas?
