Okay, this one is very strange and I hope someone can solve it. I am copying a large number of files from one external 3TB hard drive to another. After working perfectly for the entire day, with just about a minute to go, folders and files from the target drive suddenly start going into the Trash. After about 15 minutes, the Trash starts emptying itself. All this without my touching anything. Both drives are NTFS formatted and I'm using Paragon NTFS for Mac. I have a 1 year old iMac running 10.7.5.

Files are self-deleting after copying to external hard drive
