Hey guys,
I have a slight problem with my Macbook Pro 13" which I bought new a few months ago. I have my uni work on it and it has been working fine ever since I got it but just today, about 30 minutes ago actually, I went to do some work on it and none of my files in documents were visible. Turns out all of the files have scattered themselves around in the folder and you have to scroll right to the bottom to see them. Is there a reason they've done this? Would anyone know how to fix it because it's annoying when you have all of the lectures in order then they just go out of whack on their own.
Any help would be great.
Cheers

Do you mean they are lined up by name order, date created order, or they are just all over the place where the files arent even next to each other?

Maybe this

?

Ah, I think I know what you're talking about. Click the gear icon in a finder window, then select 'Clean Up'. Now all of the icons will be equally spaced and even. You can also do 'Clean Up By' and then choose a way of organization if you want it to be more organized.

Awesome I've got it thanks guys. Does anyone know if you can arrange files by date created but in reverse order? Google says nothing so I'm just wondering.
Cheers
