I hate the new way files don’t open up in the Files app anymore. You have to keep clicking on Quick Look to look at the file. I liked the old way where you clicked on a file (pdf, video, document) and it just opened to view. I hope Apple addresses this in the final version and give us a choice on how we want to view our files. Rant over 😂 😂

Actually Apple does provide a choice on where you want to view files… strangely, Mac folks have been clamoring to have the Preview app and here we are with Apple giving us the Preview app.

Therefore opening content in File app don’t exist anymore.. you have to choose whether to open in Preview app or some place else.

I’m just used to pressing the file and it just opening within files. I’ll have a play around as it’s something I need to get used to 😁

That’s been my feeling as well. For my uses, I see no need of the Preview app. It doesn’t do anything, for me, that Files didn’t do. Either way I get to see and interact with the file or document so I don’t mind, just don’t see the purpose.
