I was working on my mac. Basically I had to download some files from net and had to reupload to another location. so I downloaded the files and before uploading them I reorganized them in some sub folders, after that when I tried to upload it showed the file is deleted. but they were not in trash also. after that I checked and found all the previously downloaded files including current files which are in any sub folder are gone. all files which are download folders are present but all the files which are in any subfolder are gone.
please help me recovering them. the download folder is in my mac's inbuilt SSD drive and not on any external drive.
my mac is macbook air, i5 8gb 128gb ssd, OS high sierra.
[doublepost=1516545985][/doublepost]just found that the files are there only but hidden and names changed with syncthing. prefix and .tmp suffix. so for example abc.zip file is now renamed to syncthing.abc.zip.tmp and in the Kind tab it shows as Document.
so it seems that some error happened while syncing and all it happen. please help me. I just tried to sync the download folder with google drive.
