Hi,
Here's my setup:

(1 Harddisk setup with two partitions)

Mac drive (with snow leopard)
BOOTCAMP drive (with 70% dedicatated to a VMWare fusion windows 7 virtual machine. NOTE: I am NOT running bootcamp, i first had bootcamp running there (so its formatted ntfs) but then i deleted that installation as i prefer to run it in a VM )

The Mac drive is working fine, the windows VM in BOOTCAMP partition is working fine.. its the 30% (in drive BOOTCAMP) space thats giving me problems.

I started copying files over there as just a "storage" kind of way, but now a weird thing is happening, sometimes when i use the finder, some of my directories mysteriously vanish from there...it just does not show in finder.
but if i go into the terminal and do a CD <directory_name> then a LS i see all the files!
if i go into BOOTCAMP in terminal and do a ls -a the "vanished directories" dont show there either... but again if i do a CD <directory_name> and then i successfully go into that directory...

Another example:
If i use photoshop to try to open one of the files that i had stored in BOOTCAMP, if that directory had disappeared it does not show in the photoshop open window, but if i go to recent places or recent files in photoshop then i can access that directory as usual... but it still does not show in finder!!!

What in the world is going on?

Thanks!
R
