I have a MacBook Pro 13" late 2011 base model. Since Mavericks, when I go to finder and go routing through folders, it takes a couple of mins for the files to appear. Same when am in Photoshop trying to load a file, go to to where the file is, nothing there, close it, few mins later try again, they're back. Same if am uploading something online.

What gives?

Are you looking at files on external drives? What are your specs?

How long ago did you upgrade to Mavericks? Is Spotlight still indexing??

It's a known bug. I've also had this problem.

OSXDaily.com also highlights this issue.
