Hello everyone. I recently purchased a used Mac Mini from a friend at work. Although I'm primarly a Linux user, I decided to embark on a quest to fill all the holes in my knowledge of technology, which includes Mac OSX, because I've barely used it before now. The mini I bought has Snow Leopard on it.

Here's the problem. I have four computers at home, all running Linux in some flavor or another. Each of them can see each-others Samba shares and write to them as well. My Mini can also see all the Linux shares, and write to them. Unfortunately, while my Mini shows up in the list of devices on my Linux machines, none of them can see the shares on the Mini. The one Windows machine I have has the same issue, it can see the Mini, but when attempting to browse the shares, they never appear, and it just times out.

Is it possible that the Mini is preventing access to the other devices? I checked to make sure that Samba file sharing is allowed, and it is. I'm not sure what could be causing this, as I set up the Mini the same way as my Linux machines. I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.
