So I keep getting the "Filesystem Verification Error" when I'm trying to partition my hard drive. Now I know your immediate response would be "Use Boot Camp" but here is the problem. I'm already running Boot Camp/Windows 7, but what I'm trying to do is create a third partition that will allow me to run the 10.7 Lion Beta.

I've run Repair disk permissions, etc.

Help? Please and thank you.

My HD is 750 gb

Id say you need to boot from your snow leopard disc and repair the disk from disk utility at the install screen. Thats where I would start anyway.

You can't triple boot a mac without some tinkering using rEFIt. Use at your own risk.

Having the same problem

I tried to make a partition and got the filesystem verification error, repaired disk, same, booted from CD and tried, same. This sucks.

If you've got legit access to the Lion beta you should be posting this stuff over on the apple developer forums. If not...you shouldn't be using Lion.
