Hey guys, I just enabled filevault for my macbook pro, I was worried about it while on campus and traveling and wanted an added layer of security.

Now my powerpoints won't work, they won't even load, this ONLY happened since enabiling powerpoint yesterday.

Is there anything I can do to make it work or do I need to disable filevault?

Thanks!

Nobody has ever had this problem? Posted here and on Apple discussions and no responses from either..

Don't use filevault. Filevault may protect your computer but if anything corrupts in filevault or your hard drive begins to fail, no body will be able to help you. Filevault basically encrypts everything on your hard drive into one file. If one file corrupts within the "FileVault File" everything is corrupt. Good to use if you in the CIA but for the everyday person don't use it..
