I was trying to get into a system to do some work that involved the individual user accounts on the machine to disable file vault. The users are no longer around so i went into single user mode to reset the passwords, which worked, but filevault detected this and asked for the master password. With that i went back into single user mode under /Library/Keychain/ to remove master password and did a mv FileVaultMaster.cer and FileVaultMaster.keychain to FileVaultMaster.cer.temp FileVaultMaster.keychain.temp, and rebooted. Probably the dumbest thing i could have ever done, and now the system wont boot, or go into single user mode, i cant mount it anyway possible, and disk utility wont repair it through another OSX or the boot disc. Any suggestions?
