filevault protected folder did not open and needs to be repaired

I have two users on machine, both admins.

The primary user can no longer login and I get the following error; filevault protected folder did not open and needs to be repaired

I had just upgraded to Leopard and had run software update. Having been prompted to restart by Software update, FileVault then asked me to make some space on the disk, which I did. I now cannot login to the primary user.

Help!! Please

This article talks you through repairing this. Mine was not able to be repaired but at least I was able to grab my files and reinstall clean. Good luck.
