I was stupid enough to turn on FileVault on my admin acount when I bought my MBP. When replacing the original hd with a bigger one, I asumed that the FileVault file would adjust to the bigger volume. I was wrong. FileVault still insisted that it only had the original space. I then tried to turn off FileVault. The following error message emerged: There isn't enough space on your hard disk. Another XX GB is needed" At present, the FileVault file is locked on 93, while my hd takes almost 500 GB.

I picked up a procedure from Apple on a norwegian user forum (Mac1.no):

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1974

Step 19 in this precedure isn't possible because some files that are essential to copy from the sparse image to the new home folder, are rejected because files with same names are parts of the new user acount.

Any suggestions how I can solve this?
Or perhaps there are other ways to force FileVault to turn itself off??
