Does anyone remember those invisible shields that were sold 5+ years ago? It was a clear, tear-proof film or 'skin' that were available for the entire body of MBP.

I'm looking to protect my 2019 15" as I travel a lot work on trains etc. but though of a hard case where dirt gets trapped has me looking for this self adhesive skin but no luck.

Do they still exist (UK)?

I have also used bestskinsever.com on every MacBook I have owned for the last 4-5 years. They definitely still exist, fit well and come in a matte finish... so are practically invisible. They help with grip mostly but probably keep scuffs and marks off of the laptop. The edges will still pick up nicks if you aren't careful. Not sure about shipping to UK though.

Be ware that it is a wet install so a bit difficult the first few times you have done one until you get the hang of it.

Attached is a quick pic to see what they look like installed. Its a closeup so you can see the line at the edge of the skin. IRL its very subtle. This is from the 2017 I sold recently.
