Anyone else notice this. With my iPhone 5S, any of the pictures I or friends have taken on my phone with the filters don't get carried across to photo stream on my iMac on Aperture, the filter is completely gone.

Anyone know how to solve it too? I get its clever because apple is making the filters reversible too, but it's annoying when reviewing your filters to find they aren't in the photos anymore!

Edit in a different app, Snapseed, etc. and re-save to camera roll.

Apple's built in stuff is half baked.

According to Apple, the Aperture update of Tuesday allows filters to carry through to Aperture. Same for the iPhoto update of Tuesday.

I believe that you need to have updated to Mavericks to update Aperture.

How annoying, I'm running Mavericks on an external HD at the moment to test software compatibility as I have some old software that isn't likely to be updated. What a shame. Least I know what the solution is.
