Ok so here's something that I don't think is possible, at least I have not worked it our yet  but would like everyone's view on it :)

Can I apply the 'Do Not Disturb' iMessage/SMS from a certain number on my iPad/OS X but still receive them on my iPhone?

My setup is as follows
iPhone 6 running 8.1.3
iPad Air on 8.1.3
OS X 10.10.2

(Reason for asking is that I work as an Incident Manager for a large outsourcing provider and would really prefer if the messages didn't spam my iPad and OS X machine... we're talking 10-15 messages an hour round the clock...)

One solution would be to get a Google voice number and use that for just the notifications. This would make it easy to control exactly where they appear. Depending on how you configure it you'd get notifications in either The Google Voice app or Hangouts on your phone.

You can set DnD per conversation in iOS 8/yosemite. On your iPad and Mac hit the details button in the convo you don't want notifications for, and turn on DnD.
