What about opening compressor 3 files with the new compressor 4.1? is Compressor 4.1 backward compatible?

THANK YOU!!!!

I am not sure about backwards compatibility of Compressor. I know that X had problems with compatibility.

I am running FCP 7 on Mavericks and it seems to work quite well. I used to have issues running Compressor in Lion and Mountain Lion, but that seems to be fixed as well. I personally think that FCP 7 is faster on Mavericks than on Mountain Lion.

Yes, I just installed Maverics and FCP7 runs just fine.

I downloaded Compressor 4.1 and is a huge crap, do not buy it please, just do not. Full of bugs and it closes on me. I am fine with the previous version.
