Final Cut & Elgato Turbo.264?

All of my videos that i make in FCE 4, I export for web and I've notices that when i use "Quicktime Conversion" to export to H.264 MPEG-4, it takes significantly longer than just using Export "Quicktime Movie" which exports it into a FCE file. Would elgato's turbo.264 speed up this process? or at least free up some processing so i can do other things on my MBP? would it even work? thanks.

EDIT: can it also export full HD video (720p)?

it would speed it up but you'll have to render out your fce file first, then bring that into elgato's program and convert that into an h264 file. The process will still be much faster though.
