I have a DVCAM deck that I am trying to use to import into Final Cut Express 4.01. I know that the tapes can and have been imported using the camera that they were captured on, but when using the deck, the audio does not get captured and a loud buzz is heard instead. I have gotten 2 different error messages.

1. The audio sample rate of one or more of your captured media files does not match the sample rate of your source tape. This may cause the video and audio of these media files to be out of sync. Make sure the audio sample rate of your capture preset matches the sample rate of your tape.

2. Capture encountered a problem reading the data on your source tape. This could be due to a problem with the tape. Captures has been aborted and your clip has been saved.

Anyone have any suggestions?
