Hi, I had a quick question.

Is it to possible to save a project in FCE4 in a way to archive the project?

For example, I have a bunch of random .mp3s used in the project, but the .mp3s are located on my MBP harddrive. If I took my FCE4 project file and opened on a different computer, all those files would be "offline".

Basically, is there a way to save a project and its contents onto a single file (I don't care if the file will be huge)? Thanks in advance!

Awww...poo - I was afraid of that. Thanks for the fast response though.

the best thing to do is to keep all your music, sound effects, and graphics in the same folder as your projects folder.

keep the captured footage in a different drive. so all you have to do is, compress your project folder, and everything will come with it except the video. keep a backup of your capture scratch, if you are planning to edit it later on.
