Final Cut Express and Compressor?

If you have Compressor (or Soundtrack Pro) installed on your system from some other package (namely Logic Studio), does FCE interface with them normally? Or will I have to export the sequence as a QuickTime movie to get it over?

Also, can FCE 4 open Soundtrack Pro projects directly?
