I'm no expert in this area by any means, but I use final cut to do the video editing for the announcements we do at my church. For some reason, the final product is always blurry and the words don't match up with people's mouths. The quality of the footage looks great when I import it. Once I begin to edit and use the chroma keyer though, things go downhill. Any suggestions? If it would help, I could upload a video so you can see some of the issues I'm talking about.

You can also post your sequence, clip and import/export settings, and of course a sample video, maybe a before FCE and after FCE sample with the exact same content.
You can use MPEG Streamclip to extract a sample from your source file.
