I previously read on here that you can not use the education version of Final Cut Studio to 'make money'. Is this also true for Final Cut Express? I can't find a place saying if you can or can't. So does anyone know? Thanks.

I don't see why you couldn't use FCE to make money. It's not like you have to report your income to Apple.

I didn't catch any sarcasm off that did I?
I don't think there was any sarcasm there. There are software vendors that limit academic licenses to noncommercial use, but Apple licenses don't do that.

No sarcasm intended, it was just a brief answer... FCE is a Pro sumer application but it doesn't limit its commercial use. I know of several wedding videographers who use it...

Actually, Apple licenses DO do that. Academic versions of any software cannot be used for commercial purposes. How Apple could possibly enfore that, I have no idea.
