Final Cut Express - Synced multi-cam editing

I filmed a school play from 4 different angles. Once I had imported all the footage, I proceeded to sync all of the angles on the timeline in 4 layers. Now, though, I feel as though this is probably the worst way to go about it. I would start over, but I already put so much time into syncing them that I don't want to waste that work. Does anyone know the best workflow or method for multi-camera projects? Where can I go from here without having to start over? I just want to start editing as soon as possible. Thanks!
