Hey,

I have been trying to burn a few .AVI files for a few days now. I tried finding a bunch of different programs and that didn't work. So I went to CompUSA and asked, and a guy there told me that I can convert the file in Final Cut Express so I can burn it in IMovie.

Well I did that, I tried it has and .MP4, and as a .MOV but the quality went WAY BAD, it's all pixilated and whatnot. What do I do, so I have around the same quality as I did before, and they aren't huge files, cause the files are tv episodes and I would like to be able to fit more than 1 or 2 on a disc. I would GREATLY APPRICIATE your help.

Thank you,
Jen

while I don't know the technical ins and outs, i have noticed that it is all how it was encoded. the avi is wrapped in a format that don't have a good mac compatability for it (since it was created on typically windows).
