Final Cut Pro 3 import compatible with Studio 2?

Hi,

At work we have final cut pro 3 and are waiting for studio 2 to ship. If We import video with Pro 3 is it going to be compatible with Studio 2. Also does Pro 3 have the best settings for capuring miniDV video. I only ask because I have used FCP 5 before and our version of 3 is not installed.

The video clips are just standard .mov files and will open in FCS just fine. Your project files may need to be updated (and in doing so will make them obsolete if you try to go back to FCP 3 - make a backup of them if you need to). On the whole you should be just fine.
