Final Cut Pro 6 can't handle my keyboard layout properly - some keys disappear.

Hello.

I'm currently cutting with Final Cut Pro 6 and am still used to an Avid Keyboard layout.

So I customized the FCP keyboard layout to match an Avid one as close as it gets.

But after I start the software again the keyboard layout is gone. I have to load it via the menu, but some keys have no function anymore despite being saved with functions on them.

Does anyone know how to fix this fracking annoyance?

Problem solved.

Error was on my side, had to update to version 6.0.4.

Now it works. Let me see what other annoyance I can find.

I have a similar problem. In my case, however, the shortcut for the "Selection Tool" in the Tools Palette always disappears. Interestingly enough, I re-installed, and it worked fine. I upgraded to 6.0.4, and the shortcut is gone every time I shut down the program. I upgraded to 6.0.6; the problem seemed to be gone, but lo and behold, the shortcut is gone again so I have to re-assign the shortcut every single bloody time ... any pointers?
