how can i sync video clips to match the BPM to the audio track for a music video?

using other methods like using the "m" key is not precise enough and I can't figure out a way to trim the video clip to the exact point where i want it.

Thank you!

You say using the M key isn't enough but it has worked every time for me.

I would suggest playing the entire song and tap one hand against your leg and use the other hand to tap the m key.

Quite a few songs are 4/4 or 3/4 and counting out loud might help.

I am quite musical so maybe I have a natural "beat" but I find this method quite easy!

Depending on what type of music the track is but if you click Command-O and then select "Show Audio Waveforms" in one of the tabs, you'll be able to see the waveforms. This might help getting the downbeat. Hope this helps
