Hi all,

First time poster.

Got my MBPro back off my girlfriend after a heavy video editing session for her new film. Now Final Cut Pro (7.0.3) says it's size is 73.3 GB! What's up with that? I don't want to mess around with anything too much just yet as the edit is ongoing but would love to know the reason why it is suddenly so massive.

Cheers.

Well open it and see what is on there and then go to your hard drive and see the files.
That would be your first step. You stated it is massive. Now find out what she has done.

This is weird... Try looking in the app package contents : right-click or control-click on the app, and choose "show package contents". Do a command-alt-i and go through the items one by one, the info window will update each time you click on a new one showing the size, and report back.

For reference my FCP 7 install weighs 470 MB, and the largest item inside the package is the Resources folder at 440 MB.
