Final cut pro accesories

i was looking at the Griffin powermate for scanning through videos

anyone have any sugestions?

how is teh powermate? i see it on www.megamacs.com for 24.99 but the list is confusing and i dont know wich one to buy...

If you are serious about being proficient at FCP, why don't you memorize the hotkeys? What if you are on a job that doesn't have the cheat cover, it's going to screw you up.

i have to know them all to memorize them and its alot easier to learn them with having them infront of your face, its like learning how to type without looking...
do u use fcp?
if so then u you know how confusing the hotkey LIST is...

The keyboard shortcuts are so numerous and confusing you can buy special keyboards just for use with FCP!

I use FCP a lot. I got a Griffin Powermate but honestly I don't use it a lot. It's good for scrubbing through hours of footage I guess, but I mainly use my keyboard. As for the keyboard, that skin is pretty cool. I have the one in the link that robbieduncan posted. I think I like that skin more though because 1) it protects your keyboard and 2) once you learn all those keys, you can just take it off. Awesome.

I want one, but have no use for one.
I wonder if you can have animations on the keys?

ive been following the optimus for over a year now, waiting for it to come out, finally december 12th they release a price, the only problem is that they are configuring it for windows first, and then mac os whenever they get around to it. the "mini three", has been out for months and is still not compatible with mac os...

i think im going to get the optimus though, no matter th cost.. its just so cool!
